Using simple AutoHotKey remap script - do I risk a permanent ban?

Hello,

 

I would like to use my Appskey in Red Orchestra 2, but I can't bind anything to it.

 

My workaround would be: Use AutoHotKey with following script

AppsKey::x

All it does: Remap the AppsKey to X.

 

Do I risk a permanent ban?

 

Is there a better solution?

I wouldnt have thought just remapping a key would put you at risk of being banned, unless it alters the gameplay to your advantage.

However, dont take my word for it .wait for more "informed" admins to chime in on this

I always go by the policy if you have to ask then it would be best not to do what ever it is.
