Kolor Posted August 29, 2012 Share Posted August 29, 2012 My Creative SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty has kicked the bucket, running on temporary card at the moment, Anyone have recommendations for a replacement? The one that croaked was a good solid card so I'm not adverse to buy another unless I can find something better. I don't run any surround sound and mostly play CoD4 and use it for listening to music. Twiebie Posted August 29, 2012 Share Posted August 29, 2012 I've been using a Asus Xonar DS for quite a while now and never had any issues with it. Sound quality is absolutely fine for the price, and i've never had any problems with the drivers and/or control panel that comes with it. Reliable, basic drivers and excellent sound quality, especially with good headphones. I use AKG K240 600 ohm headphones with it, and the immersion in game is unblievable. Not cheap though. Can't go wrong with the Asus cards listed above either.
