Branded Mantel, AMD is working with DICE on a low-level “console-like” API and tools suite that will allow game developers to work “closer to the metal,” which is an industry term that describes a programming model that is stripped of software wrappers and other translation layers of code for compatibility and performance across a wide range of systems. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
