AAPG Streaming Support now Available

Server admins can now add America's Army Proving Ground servers for streaming.

 

- A sample pbsv.cfg file for those interested can be found at:

- AAPG supports cross game bans with Red Orchestra 2

- The default game port is 7778

 

- The PB working directory should be located at:

 

\steamapps\common\America's Army\AAPG\Binaries\win32\pb\

 

Place the pbsv.cfg and pbucon.use files there.

hey, maydax.

 

is the streaming open to all servers or is it like bf3, just to clans with website? i tried to put streaming to bf3 in our server and nothing, i will rent a server of aapg soon and i will ty to put streaming to pb!

You don't need a website anymore if you use the lite streaming option.

Go to this link and then click the (E) button (edit server) on the right next to the server.

 

 

Place a tick in the Enable Personal Greetings

 

Then click on Edit Flags to apply it.

 

Then you need to go back into the server you just edited and add the join message.

 

Go to bottom of the page and you will see this box section, add the format and message.

Join Greeting is a message that is sent to your server when a player joins.

 

To display their name use $CURRENT_NICK

To display their PB GUID (Last 8) use $PLAYER_GUID

To display their country use $PLAYER_COUNTRY

 

Example: Welcome $CURRENT_NICK ($PLAYER_GUID) from $PLAYER_COUNTRY to our server.

 

This message will be displayed on this server only. If you wish to disable enter a blank greeting.

After adding the message format you want then click on the Save Join Greeting button to apply it.

 Can you show me a screenshot of it the only message I get is PB.com. I entered this  Welcome $CURRENT_NICK ($PLAYER_GUID) from $PLAYER_COUNTRY to our server.      

 

In the message area.

 

Is there something else I have to do in the gameserver panel?

Nope not showing on server unless it doesn't work for one player on server just shows PBBANS.com

Where do you see my server logs..lol

You should be able to see your own server logs via your servers control panels. Also no need to pm me to check forum posts :)

 

My advice to you would be to read the topics in the information centre. This should give you some of the general info you need about streaming and streaming options.

 

I don't have AAPG so I don't know how these messages are displayed in game. All I can tell you is that the hub is sending the message to your server.

If you have FTP access to the server logs download the last couple of days and search for your name it should show you what you are after.
