SOF2: game freezes when someone enters

In SOF2...there is one guy that when he enters the server, it completely freezes everyones game...cant move cant shoot cant do anything, until he is finally connected then the game goes back to normal. And its only from this same person, pretty much everytime.

What causes this? :huh:

Some may say it's because he/she has extended ASCII characters in their name, but it's just a bug/glitch & nothing to worry about.

Sometimes that player has bad connection showing ping 999 but it also depends with your server, are u running it in youre own PC while u playing?

yeah id probly say server is home run, haven't seen anything like that happen to any of my servers, but AcE is probly right ;)

has nothing to do with servers that are ran on a home server. Seen it couple of times on `normal` ones.

HI everybody!

This can happen because of special charactersm in the name.

It's often a "." (point) in teh name that makes the game frezzing. It also happened to me my mouse acted like crazy!It began ointing at the ground or at the sky. Or even worse: I was stuck in the ground.

So check the player's name and see if it contains points or dashes or smthg like that.
