Hi i recently started getting kicked for this issue here. I can play 2142 for all of 5 minutes before getting kicked for the following.
[03.02.2008 13:19:33] RESTRICTION: Service Communication Failure: PnkBstrB.exe driver failure (PnkBstrK.sys) ffa0
I've re-installed PB, and i've re-ran all the update over and over.
My firewall is off. Any suggestions please?

Unfortunately that doesn't work. I've tried doing that a few times. uninstalling PB reinstalling PB reinstalling the game. Everything.

Your firewall may be off, but that doesn't mean the proper ports that the game needs are open. You are probably going to have to manually open whatever ports the game needs.

If all fails then i think this is your last resort from reinstalling the game completely.
Click Here and follow the steps exactly as they are. This resolves every problem i have ever had with BF2142 Punkbuster and i hope it works for you.
