PBBans

Since I started streaming, when I try to enter my server, it says awaiting key authorization, then conts to 10-11 then times out. Any ideas?

When I played CoD2, and encountered this message, mass reconnects did the job.
So, in console type "bind F4 reconnect". Then try joining your server and press F4 a few times if you see the message. It should disappear.
Not sure it works for CoD4 though.

It isn't a PBBans streaming problem......that error is with EvenBalance's key authorization servers. Other "non-streaming" clans/groups have reported the same errors happening in the last 2 hours.

Couple of people in my clan had reported the same so it is a global issue nothing to do with pbbans like Rodeo said

For me it looks more like a problem with the server cod4master.activison.com (63.146.124.21). I can't reach it. The last server I can see is los-edge-01.inet.qwest.net [205.171.32.38]. annex-3560g-a-gi0-28.activision.com [209.3.124.229) seems to be dead.

I think is an Activision side problem.

Activision use a new server: cod4master.activison.com [216.8.179.23]. If you can't still connect to your server, disconnect from the internet (if you have a router switch it off), and reconnect. Without the disconnect CoD4 tried to resolve the name to the old address, tracert shows the new.

Hey! Does anyone have any info on if the Mater Server is down. It seems no one can get an updated internet list for CoD and any PB server that anyone joins kicks for unknown GUID. Started yesterday and is still going on. Seems to only be COD1

Yes, there a problems with "Activison CoD Master-Servers" too.

95 percent of all players will be kicked with

PB GUID AUTH: UNKN

I have changed following in the "pbsv.cfg" in the pb folder of my server:

pb_sv_GuidRelax 0 //[1=UNKN, 2=WRONGIP, 4=DUP (add desired values)]

into

pb_sv_GuidRelax 1 //[1=UNKN, 2=WRONGIP, 4=DUP (add desired values)]

Now, everybody can join without a kick.

i read over at the infinity ward forums that its a activision problem affecting all of their cod 1,2 uo,4 servers.

their supposedly workin on it since friday when it started.

here we come 1.8!
