i need help imm a noob at this stuff how do i get my server to stream to pbbans

It looks like you have a 2142 server from what your title is. Use the 2142cc setup option in the hubguide that DalynX posted. Thats the best way to setup 2142 servers.

You would need to follow the Starter's Guide.....you have your forum account but you need a Team Account.

You are using the Enforce Bans option....there isn't a need to upload a bans list to your server. As players join they are checked agains the MBI and banned players do not get the opportunity to finish joining :)

Make sure you add the MD5 Checks to your server as well.

where is the enforce bans option located i cant find it and what are MD5 checks?

ok i downloaded the md5 checks but how do i get the file into the pb root folder i mean where do i find the pb root folder at

The root pb folder is where your SVSS folder is located is where your svlogs folder is located. You will see the pbbans.dat file and a few other config and dll files. You will see the current pbsvuser.cfg file in there. All you do is upload the pbsvuser.cfg file to that same spot and replace the old one. Then restart pb or the game server itself and then you are good to go.

i used smartftp to upload the file but idk where it went it just went automatically

hmmm I don't use smartftp. I use the ftp protocol built into IE. Maybe someone who uses that program can help you out.

You should use smartFTP to browse to the server's "PB" folder - then you can simply drag the file into there and it will be uploaded. :)

Once it is uploaded, send "pb_sv_restart" to your server via RCON and you will be good to go.
