$799 here.

Funny the latest tech and they run Crysis 2 in DX9 but run Homefront in DX11.

I enjoyed that vid, nice card.

It was refreshing to see a mouse & keyboard being used to play too :)

Almost £600 here in the UK depending where you go.

I wonder what the temps were on that burning card, even looked like a bit of the board flew off red hot too :o

That would be the solder melting.

Alloys that melt between 180 and 190 °C (360 and 370 °F) are the most commonly used

I am thinking of buying one of these beauties. After second vid I am a bit nervious about it. I am not into overclocking, is it going to survive for about 5 years? It would be a shame to put around £600-630 to bin after first 1-2 years.

imo if you have the cheddar to throw away, that is a mute question.

if you have to ask, you can't afford it kind of thing

"Do not use Geforce Drivers 267.52"

not the first burn-in test "driver" release, a driver blacklist was really required; sidenote: silly they fell back to the useless axial whisks after the way more efficient radial fan layout (GTX 28*)
