Actually I'd like some help on this one, as I'm not a BF2 player...

Can anyone explain why the name of the opposite team players does not appear on their dog tag, though it was working well for frenchaos's team ?

this is caused by users using certain characters in their clan tags, i believe, in this case, it is either the '~' or the '$' that may be causing it. i have many screenshots of tags that do not actually show any or part of the users name due to these restrictions. you got the tag, thats all that matters!! ;)

This isnt a hack or cheating or anything illegal. EA made the game name engine and the Dog tag collector engine differently. The Dog Tag creator cannot cope with lots of letters, as mentioned ~ $ but also £ & and loads off others. Basically it just stops producing the name when it comes accross one of these characters.

EA have basically said its an issue but so minor they are not going to waste time to try to patch it.

Its only an issue if you cannot see the players name in the score lists.
