Oh and Jam (the person above me). 1st, nice processor XD and 2nd why do you need 240GB in a TeamSpeak server? I would put that 200GB hard drive in your main and give yourself more space.

Recent (Christmas) upgrades:

PSU: 600W Coolermaster eXtreme Power
Mobo: Gigabyte 965P-DS3 rev 3.3
CPU: Intel Q6600 @ 2.4GHz (4 cores)
RAM: 4Gb OCZ Reaper @ 800MHz 5-5-5-18
GFX: Radeon 4850 1Gb
Sound: Realtek HD
Case: Antec Solo
HDD: 250Gb + 120Gb
OS: XP Pro SP3
Speakers: Fata1ity headset/Aego M-series 2.1
Mouse: Saitek optical mouse
Keyboard: Standard Dell
Monitor: Dell 1704FPT @ 1280x1024

Going to invest in better CPU cooling, currently using a random Akasa fan/heatsink - probably not much better than stock. Once I have that I'll overclock that Q6600 ;)

Could do with a better case, this one runs a little warm (Antec Solo is made for quietness, not cooling) - and then probably a new motherboard would be great :)

My Q6600 is refusing to OC...

Trying 333MHz FSB with 9x multiplier, setting RAM multiplier to 2.4 to maintin 800MHz RAM speed. 3GHz Supposed to be achievable at stock voltage - but won't POST even at 1.35V.

Motherboard is Gigabyte 965P-DS3 as stated earlier in the thread.

Any ideas?

I think you ment the OCZ GameXStream, Corsair doesnt have a 700W PSU and they dont use the name GameXStream.

Greetings from a Corsair fanboy ;)

Is it a B3 or a G0?
The B3's arent really good clockers but 3 GHz shouldnt even be a problem with a B3.
Also the older Intel P965 chipset of your mobo could be a problem.
Here's a really good topic for overclocking on XS:

I just got one of these:

Antec 902 Gaming case

Two of these to fill the optional fan slots:

Antec Tri-cool 120mm fans

One of these:

Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 7

and one of these:

WD Caviar Black 1TB

Also, cheers Earzz - I got it OC'd a while ago - hence the need for a new, cooler case ;)
