I have it on stock and someone told me he had set it to 100. So I'm wondering what the allowed setting is for this?
And can someone explain what FOV actually does?

The deafault fov is 80 the allowable range is 80-100. Fov = field of view, See the ss to see the differences. I personally think anything above default looks retarded lol.

Ah so it shows a wider screen? I figure this is used when someone has a widescreen monitor?
I got a regular 17" TFT, would it be worth trying it?
(How was your vacation btw?)

It's not bad, i'll try it for a few maps to see if im 1337 now
I got my cfg on read only and I don't want to change it, can I make a seperate file with this in it, my name in other colors and a different crosshair color? And what do I name it, I don't want to name it like a hack cfg by mistake.

I must say I totally agree with you Ace on the fact it feels retarded. Also imo it would make those longrange shots alot harder to pull off. Notorious do you really need to see more of the side action thats goin on near you? Back when my old clan was playing league in A.G.L. they had the rules stating everyone must use 100 instead of 80 and I didnt care for it. Nowadays I just rely on my headphones and radar and can usually pinpoint where anyone is either running or getting into a firefight. My 2 cents....

No, I don't need to see what's going on.. but it feels like i'm faster and I move smoother. I like the smoothness.

I use 100 and I hate how slow I feel when I have it on 80. I also like to see to the side as much as possible. With 80 I feel like I have tunnel vision.

lol, i mean i was wrong also cuz here we have someone runing it at 120, but the valid valus showed in the commands are between 80-100 and that could be a enforce command in the cvars and could get kick from a server, especially a PB Admin server, but yeah u can set it higher, u were right m8.
