We would like to take a moment to welcome each and every one of you to the Battlefield Play4Free Open Beta. Whether you have been testing Battlefield Play4Free during Closed Beta, or you're getting your first taste of this epic Battlefield awesomeness today; we very much hope you enjoy our game as well as your time spent here. We have now moved into Open Beta, which means EVERYONE can get instant access Battlefield Play4Free! It also means that the Closed Beta testing NDA is no longer in effect, you are free to post videos and screenshots, as well as talk about BFP4F wherever you wish on the web!
While we have moved into the Open Beta, that doesn't mean we are done developing this game, not by a long shot. We will be releasing a tonne of new content over the coming months, not least among which are new maps, new weapons and new apparel! Oh...and don't forget about the awesome third tier of Training which is sure to liven things up even more!

is it safe to say since this game supports PB, and is a remake of BF2 that it will support the PBSS mechanism?

It has PB yes but if PBBS or even streaming works is another mystery since I don't have access to a server as of yet.

Surely one of the GSPs here could give you the info for one of their beta servers to work with? hint hint

I don't think they can since they signed NDAs. We are viewed as the public like everyone else.

It's in open beta now, the NDA's were lifted. it was in the news update

GSPs are subject to different rules, and I haven't heard of any public BETA servers.

But in all seriousness, it just went into Open Beta Mode Monday (4/4/11). You don't think they'll offer public beta servers the same way they have for other BF/EA games recently? I would think the GSPs would want to cash in on that unless EASY is strictly prohibiting it.
