With BF3 now banned in Iran, shop owners are being arrested for selling he game...but apparently there are some pirate copies doing the rounds.
EA's response..."its a step forward in the fight against software piracy."
The reason for the ban ?
The depiction of US troops invading Tehran.
So EA produces a product who'se content gets itself a ban, and the best they can come up with...instead of anything about censorship or freedom of speech or anyhing that could defend the content of its game...is basically...
"heyyyy..its a step forward for the good guys in the fight against software piracy...thumbs up !!"
Looks like we have them all wrong...they're not just about wringing every dollar they can out of ppl...
