ban a land?

There is a guy on my server with a dynamic ip.He just get unbanned all the time and i was thinking can i ban the country where he is living?He lives in portugal

an ip range ban would solve the problem and works the same way......

Only problem with that is you ban anyone else that has the same range.

Cheating in an online video game won't result in any action being taken. If they were to DDoS your host and they had valid proof, then action may be taken.

Sadly, you're going to just have to find a successful way to ban him.

Another option might be to collect this players various IP's and use the old quake3 method of applying a limited range ban.
This is explained in the HLSW tutorial we have in the PBBans download section.

nah he is the only guy from portugal on my server^^.I need to talk with some admins so i will post the result soon

Most IP's dont switch much ,,his ip's even if he switches them alot should most of the time start w\ the same 2 sets of #'s for example 12.123 -- --- just ban 12.123.0.0 that will still ban a few others but it'll likely keep your guy out for a long time.
