I have been searching around the net for config commands to boost my fps. I recently found a setting that will draw stuff as you move closer to it, for example if you look at a gate far away it won't draw it but if you move closer it does. This has improved my FPS greatly but is it allowed? Because i don't want to use it if it's not. And if anyone knows that command as i forgot it and can't remember what it's called.

What is the setting you are changing, some cvar are cheat protected by the game and cannot be changed normally. And some cvars are restricted by punkbuster configs.

I can't rember the setting. But i on't get kicked by pb on any servers
